Super excited to dig in to the Bowl of Light by Hank Wesselman.
In the book, anthropologist and shaman Hank Wesselman recounts his close friendship with a Hawaiian elder.
I’m only a few chapters in so far, but it’s packed with traditional wisdom not usually shared with those not initiated.
Wesselman has written a bunch of other books on shamanism, including a series (Spirit Walker, also sitting in my To Read pile) recounting the experiences that initiated him on his path.
Learn more about him and see his schedule of events and workshops here.
Stay tuned for a full review and some tidbits when I finish it.
In the meantime
Have you read The Bowl of Light or any of Wesselman’s other books?
